Welcome to The Bartlett Summer 2025, an exhibition celebrating the radical design thinking and architectural imagination of undergraduate and postgraduate students from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
Nearly 1,000 students from five of The Bartlett’s architecture programmes present an ambitious range of group and individual projects. Projects are grouped by programme and developed within design units or studios, collaborative spaces where students explore ideas, test new methods and develop their own architectural language. These spaces support a broad spectrum of design approaches, shaped by the interests, experiences and ambitions of each student cohort.
Across the school, students have explored themes around sustainability, climate responsibility, regeneration and spatial equity. From speculative early investigations to final-year proposals, there is a shared interest in how architecture can respond to complex global challenges with care, creativity and critical insight. As such, this exhibition is not only a celebration of individual talent, but a reflection of the ideas shaping architectural education today – offering a window into how future practitioners are redefining the role of architecture in our rapidly changing world.
